From Chattanooga:  Travel North on US Hwy. 27 for approximately 21 miles.  Take TN Hwy.-111 exit left toward Dunlap.  Continue on Hwy-111 approximately 37 miles.  Hwy.-111 will intersect with Hwy. 284 (you will see a sign pointing toward Fall Creek Falls State Park at this intersection). Continue on Hwy. 111 another 3.1 miles.  You are looking for Old Hwy. 111.  Turn right onto Old Hwy. 111, Phifer Mine Rd. will be 0.4 miles on your left.  Continue on Phifer Mine Rd. for approximately 1.6 miles.  Just past Open Range Rd. you will see a lane on your left.  A sign for Cumberland Plateau Retreat is at the entry gate.  Approximately 700 feet down the lane you will find Autumn Breeze, the first cabin to the left, Summer Shade will be the second cabin on the left, the third cabin will be Twin Oaks, and Hickory Springs will be the fourth cabin on the left. 

From Nashville / Cookeville:  Travel East on I-40 to Cookeville, TN.  Take the TN Hwy. 111 South exit.  Continue on Hwy. 111 South through Sparta, TN.  After passing through Sparta, continue South on Hwy. 111.  You will travel up the mountain and onto the Cumberland Plateau and through Spencer, TN.  Continue South on Hwy. 111 approximately four additional miles.  Look for Old Hwy. 111 on the left side of Hwy. 111. (Just past mile marker 9).  Turn left on Old Hwy. 111.  Turn left on Phifer Mine Rd. road in approximately 0.4 miles.  Continue approximately 1.6 miles on Phifer Mine Rd.  Just past Open Range Rd., you will see a lane on the left.  A sign for Cumberland Plateau Retreat is at the entry gate.  Approximately 700 feet down the lane you will find Autumn Breeze, the first cabin on the left, Summer Shade will be the second cabin on the left, the third will be Twin Oaks, and the fourth cabin will be Hickory Springs.
Falls Creek Falls
One of the biggest attractions close by is Falls Creek Falls State Resort Park.
Fall Creek Falls at 256' is the greatest vertical drop east of the Rocky Mountains.  
Coon Creek Falls at 250' is viewed alongside Fall Creek Falls.
Piney Creek Falls goes over a 45' sandstone outcrop then cascades another 40' over into a canyon of the Cane Creek Gorge in the FCF St. Park. 
Cane Creek Falls  is 85' tall as it drops into Cane Creek.  
Rockhouse Creek Falls at 125' also falls into the Cane Creek Gorge, and is a tributary stream of Cane Creek.  Looking across the gorge amphitheater you give you a  view of the Rockhouse Creek Falls.
Cane Creek Cascades flows 45 ' down a 60' wide sandstone wall and is located behind the FCF St. Park Nature Center.  
Throughout various times during the year, the park also hosts live mountain music and various festivals. And much, much more.
